On November 15th, the 2017 National Petroleum and Chemical Industry Quality Standardization Work Conference was held in Beijing. Experts attending the meeting said that the industry quality standardization work should be based on green development, with the focus on improving supply quality, taking standards as the starting point, and taking “quality and development” activities as the carrier to further strengthen the construction of quality brands and standards systems. Grasping total quality management, providing strong support and solid guarantee for accelerating industrial restructuring and transformation and upgrading. Zhou Zhuye, vice chairman of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, pointed out that in the past two years, the quality standardization work in the petroleum and chemical industry has made positive progress and achieved certain results.
However, there are still many shortcomings in the quality standardization work of the petroleum and chemical industry, such as serious product homogeneity, low added value, low-end market, weak market competitiveness, and lack of well-known brands that are globally screaming. He said that in the coming period, the industry quality standardization work will focus on the following tasks: First, actively carry out propaganda and guidance, and create a good atmosphere for quality development; second, implement three major strategies in depth to promote green development and upgrading of the industry; It is to deepen the standardization work and consolidate the technical foundation for the development of the industry; the fourth is to strengthen the quality infrastructure and improve the quality of the service industry; the fifth is to strengthen the quality analysis and research, and improve the threshold for entry. Sheng Xijun, deputy inspector of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, fully affirmed the quality standardization work of the petrochemical industry.
He pointed out that the development of the quality of the petrochemical industry has achieved remarkable results in terms of the development of the industry. This year, the petrochemical industry has carried out a series of reforms in the standardization system. At the same time, it has closely followed the themes of green manufacturing and smart manufacturing to promote the transformation and upgrading of the industry. Cui Gang, deputy director of the National Standards Committee, said that the standard is the “bull nose” of quality improvement. The key to improving quality is to carry out quality improvement actions. He put forward five suggestions for the development of industry quality standardization: First, improve the standardization management system; Second, promote the implementation of the “100 cities and thousands of enterprises to achieve benchmarking” actions; Third, build a green chemical manufacturing standards system; Fourth, strengthen standardization services; Fifth, do a good job in standardization organization and personnel training. Zheng Weihua, inspector of the Product Quality Supervision Department of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, said that the quality inspection department will join hands with law enforcement agencies to strictly supervise the quality of gasoline and diesel products and promote the quality improvement and green development of the industry. At the meeting, 10 first batch of petrochemical association group standards such as “Green Design Product Evaluation Standard Waterborne Architectural Coatings” were also released. In addition, the conference commended 37 outstanding standard projects such as car tires and representatives of many quality brand winners. It is reported that the meeting was led by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the National Standards Committee, the National Certification and Accreditation Administration, as well as from professional associations, local industry associations, standardization technical institutions, inspection agencies and oil. A total of more than 230 people attended the meeting with representatives of chemical companies.
